Neo-classical Chest of Drawers

Very beautiful period neo-classical chest of drawers. Tabernacle top has multiple compartments behind veneered doors. A delicate balustrade surrounds the top of the tabernacle. Hardware compliments the neo-classic lines of the bottom drawers. The piece stands on elegantly tapered legs. It has 9 drawers and a niche behind a double door for the upper part. Also, 2 large and deep drawers in the lower part. Oak body with walnut veneer. Signed. Made in Germany in 1803. Height:
